The Baranduda Fields project is a major regional sporting complex planned for the Baranduda-Leneva Valley, and just a few hundred metres from Glenwood Estate.

Set on 100ha of council-owned land, the facility will be the largest regional sporting precinct between Sydney and Melbourne.

The precinct will allow the city of Wodonga to showcase sport at a local, regional and state level, and will provide economic benefits from the visitation of major sporting events.

It will also lead to improved physical and mental health for the Glenwood community through greater participation in sports, and create opportunities for volunteering, social interaction and inclusion.

Stage 1 will include the following.

Two soccer fields with lighting, fencing and irrigation
A soccer pavilion with grandstand seating.
One full-sized AFL oval with fencing, irrigation and lights
Two netball courts with lighting and fencing, changerooms and public toilets
Two car parks including drainage and lighting and integrated water management design elements
Shared paths throughout the site.
